What is the Political Courage Test?

Presidential Election 2012 Political Courage Test

Pro-choice Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
I support the Constitution and the legal laws of the land and my motto is: ?Honesty & citizens? rights First.? I believe that before the government introduces any laws in this area there should be more information and an understanding of what citizens want, and what are the rights of the mother, the father, and possibly the grandparents in the case of a minor expectant mother and/or father. I will support any laws that protect their rights.

Balancing the budget and reducing excessive spending should be a priority. There should be no area that is not effected by studies to reduce their budget. I would like to introduce a national debit card for citizens to obtain and use. Citizens would be able to invest up to a certain logical amount of money. They would be able to use half of the money as a debit card and half as a savings account that helps reduce the deficit. They would receive the normal interest rate. It would be like employees investing in their company.
I believe the people want spending cut. It is important to me that the government follows the will of the people. Therefore I will be working on a way of setting up a website that will poll the opinions of the people to see where they believe spending should be reduced, and other opinions of the people. The website will be based on the Zip Code system, and citizens register under their zip code to express their opinion and vote on questions from the President, or other representatives that chose to be on the site.
The government has to have ways to obtain some revenue to maintain itself. Taxes have to be logical and fair. Right now I believe that adding a new tax that would be over 3% would be improper. Enforcing fines from laws that are legal and on the books, makes sense. There are other ways to increase revenues besides increasing taxes. It is time to find more of those ways, but it seems that non of our representatives are trying to hard to find those new ways. It would seem logical to use technology for ways to find new revenue.
Yes Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
I do not support direct or indirect campaign contributions from corporations. This is one of the main reasons that I am running for President ... to eliminate dishonesty and the appearance of dishonesty in our representatives. Taking campaign money from corporations gives the appearance of dishonesty. I will support laws that eliminate campaign contributions from anyone except citizens, and only a ?logical? amount, like $100, to any candidate, but only one candidate in any race. I believe taking corporate contributions is one of the main reasons to vote out incumbents and elect ones that don?t - like me.
Yes Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
My legal experience, and the many DNA reversals, are the main reasons I believe capital punishment needs to be studied. The opinion of "an eye for an eye" is out dated and so wrong in any civilized nation. President Obama's invasion of Syria should be investigated just like any U.S. soldiers? killing of a citizen in another country. President Obama?s lack of intervention after the appeal denial of Troy Anthony Davis should be one of the main reasons for citizens to vote for another candidate. The Justice System does not always defend citizens? rights - who is the last hope?
Yes Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
Yes Do you support spending on infrastructure projects for the purpose of job creation?
Yes Do you support the 2010 temporary extension of unemployment benefits?
Yes Do you support the 2010 temporary extension of tax relief?
I will support any law or program to help the economy, but after studies show that the funding is logically obtainable and it is recommended as necessary by my advisors. I would support federal loans to promote economic growth, but will not support excessive spending. I will propose programs that will bring in revenue. I will support spending for needed improvements on interstates, especially improvements for fuel efficiency, green technology, and/or safety. I will work to introduce programs for green projects. I will work to begin a federal highway patrol for interstates and federal highways to increase revenue.
Yes Do you support requiring states to implement education reforms in order to be eligible for competitive federal grants?
We need to educate and protect the youth. No Child Left Behind has to have it's percentages revised logically, and not just let States waiver out. I would consider any program that would challenge students to be their best. For too long our schools have not challenged students. We need to advance students in the area of math and science instead of making them stay at their social grade level. That might mean to transport students to morning math and/or science classes at higher levels. White House workshops to improve education will be used. Tenure needs to be evaluated.
Yes Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
Yes Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
No Do you support reducing restrictions on offshore energy production?
I support setting up committees to study and advance new programs that promote reducing pollution, saving energy, reducing dirty energy use, finding more clean energy, and promoting the use of clean energy. I would have a committee study the possibility of a tax on dirty energy with a percentage rebated back for the improvement to clean energy. I will encourage the movement away from nuclear energy to cleaner energy, as have other countries like Germany and Japan. I would promote a clean energy tax on gasoline to be paid back to citizens who purchase fuel efficient cars, etc.
Yes Do you support United States' combat operations in Afghanistan?
Yes Do you support a timetable for withdrawal from Afghanistan?
Yes Do you support targeting suspected terrorists outside of official theaters of conflict?
In this area I will gladly accept the advice from people with intelligence and experience. I believe reducing our military may be done, but has to be carefully evaluated. We need a strong military. I want intelligent military advisers who are not extremely liberal or extremely conservative, but know how to apply their knowledge wisely and prefer peaceful solutions. I believe it is time to start preparing to leave Afghanistan, but will listen to the military advisers on this issue. It is time to let the Union Nations be primary peace keepers.
Yes Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
I don't have any guns, and don't believe I need them, but I will defend citizens' rights given in the Constitution, and laws that are designed to protect citizens, especially police officers and our military, from the improper use of certain guns, namely some advanced guns that have evolved since the writing of the Constitution.
No Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
No Should individuals be required to purchase health insurance, as mandated in the 2010 Affordable Care Act?
I will support laws and programs that reduce the cost of Health Care for all citizens and the government at the same time. I believe the 2010 Affordable Care Act contains mistakes. Some of which have been corrected already. I will work to find the most unbiased (or least bias) source possible to find Cabinet candidates and coworkers, with intelligence, honesty and patriotism as required qualities, because I must trust them to follow their advice. I will listen to the will of the people and my advisors on this issue.
Yes Do you support requiring illegal immigrants to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
Yes Do you support allowing illegal immigrants, who were brought to the United States as minors, to pursue citizenship without returning to their country of origin?
Yes Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration law by state and local police?
There are available immigration laws. I will enforce the legal laws of the land, but will restrict it to logical enforcement. Which means that the amount of expense to be used in enforcement will be based on a budget. I will listen to the will of the people and my advisors on this issue.
Yes Do you support same-sex marriage?
I support the Constitution and the legal laws of the land and my motto is: "Honesty & citizens' rights First." I will listen to the will of the people and my advisors on this issue. I believe that the government should distance itself from the church on this issue. Churches have a right to make rules for their members to obey. That will be okay with me, but their rules, like the laws of the land, cannot take away the Constitutional rights of our citizens without their permission.
No Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
I will support Social Security, and any logical means of making it strong and available for years to come. I will listen to the will of the people and my advisors on any proposed changes to Social Security from congress.
Citizens, the top priorities of the President are to help develop laws, programs and rules that: 1. help eliminate dishonesty, and bringing back honesty and the appearance of honesty in all our representatives; 2. protect citizens' rights; 3. help representatives listen to the people; 4. protect the earth by: reducing the burning of fossil fuels, developing more inexpensive clean energy and reducing the pollution of the earth; and 5. reduce the excessive spending, and the deficit. * Please checkout my facebook website for more detailed information in the future months.
